Email without “fixer” apps

Random “inbox repair” downloads are a classic infection path. Stay on official tools.

  1. Use the provider’s website or their official app (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.).
  2. If a client app needs a special password, create an app password only from the provider’s security page.
  3. Skip third-party “optimizer” or “repair” utilities that demand full mailbox access.
  4. Phishing check: hover links, do not enter passwords from unexpected emails.
When to book: Business email takeover, years of mail to migrate, or Outlook profiles that will not open.
